In submitting his Penn State home game weather forecast for the No. 17 Nittany Lions’ home game with No. 18 Iowa at Beaver Stadium Saturday (3:30 p.m., ESPN), WTAJ chief meteorologist Joe Murgo warned that fans should expect nasty conditions. “I hate to say it, but it’s going to be an ugly one this week,” Murgo said in the email.
Don’t worry, Joe, nobody is blaming you.
To best prepare for pregame travel to the game, tailgating, the game itself and postgame travel, please take a look at Joe’s weather forecast above. But generally speaking, the issue is that while temperatures will be in the low-40s — hardly cringe worthy for this time of year — there will also be rain (some of it heavy).
“Being in that chill for hours may wear on you,” Murgo warns.
We urge you to watch Joe’s entire forecast this week, to get the scoop on how to dress for this weekend’s big game.
