New York Giants’ fans were a little frustrated with the decision to draft a running back at No. 2 overall in the 2018 NFL Draft, but everyone associated with the franchise appears to be cool with it now.
Saquon Barkley has been one of the best players in the NFL this 2018 regular season, showing off his absurd skills every week of the year.
Today is no different.
The former Penn State star running back has already scored a touchdown for the Giants this afternoon. He’s attempting to join an elite club, too.
“Saquon Barkley needs 191 yards from scrimmage to become the third rookie in NFL history to reach 2,000 yards, joining Eric Dickerson and Edgerrin James.”

Barkley, who was selected to the Pro Bowl, has been excelling both on and off the field.
The former Penn State star running back is dating fellow Nittany Lion Anna Congdon. The couple had one child together.
Congdon has a rising social media presence, with more than 100,000 followers on Instagram.

The Giants and the Colts, meanwhile, are playing on CBS.
New York is leading Indianapolis, 7-0.
