Penn State will lose another offensive lineman from its 2018 team, but not to the NFL Draft.
Redshirt junior Sterling Jenkins announced via Twitter on Saturday he will be leaving Penn State and transferring to Duquesne University where he plans to continue his football career while pursuing a master’s degree.

After appearing in 11 games as a redshirt freshman in 2016, Jenkins played just one more time for the Nittany Lions. He did not see a snap in 2018.
Jenkins has recently earned an English degree from Penn State.
