
Hockey season continues starting Friday for Penn Condition as the No. 18 Nittany Lions play host to Wisconsin in the quarterfinals of the Significant 10 event at Pegula Ice Arena.
The Significant Ten’s a few-weekend event structure features a a few-activity quarterfinal series followed by one-elimination semifinals and a championship activity, with all game titles conducted on campus web pages with the bigger seed as the host.
Together with Wisconsin-Penn Condition, the other quarterfinals function Michigan Condition at Notre Dame and Michigan at Minnesota. Top-seed Ohio Condition has a quarterfinal bye.
Wisconsin attained the fifth seed in the meeting event with a pair of extra time residence victories against Michigan this previous weekend. People performances also aided Penn Condition — which went 1-1 at Notre Dame — secure the fourth seed and residence ice in the quarterfinals.

Penn Condition went 1-2-1 against Wisconsin this season, but retains a 7-4-1 report against the badgers at residence in general.
Following the split at Notre Dame, Penn Condition moved to No. 16 in the PairWise Rankings, which establish the 16-team NCAA event field.
