Our first 2019 edition of the Lions247 Podcast goes overtime to catch up on the latest Penn State football developments. Focus shifts toward offseason changes to the Nittany Lions roster and coaching staff, along with a long look at need-to-know recruiting info.

Lions247’s Tyler Donohue hosts the latest episode and is joined by a pair of knowledgable colleagues.

First, Mark Brennan helps break down what we witnessed during and after the Citrus Bowl in Orlando. Mark and Tyler also detail notable player departures, including five juniors who’ve declared for NFL draft inclusion, and discuss the legacy of quarterback Trace McSorley and potential of linebacker Micah Parsons.

The episode extends beyond an hour as 247Sports national recruiting analyst Brian Dohn enters the conversation at the 49-minute mark and describes crucial recruiting battles as National Signing Day (Feb. 6) nears. He also sheds light on how Penn State signees performed during a week of Under Armour All-America practice, and shares his thoughts on which Nittany Lions early enrollees could be prepared to make an immediate push for playing time in Happy Valley.

Check out our full episode below and be sure to subscribe to the Lions247 Podcast to hear all of our future shows, which will feature the return of Sean Fitz.
