Penn State Nittany Lions

PSU practice action with McSorley, Dotson, Shorter

Penn State opened the end of Wednesday’s practice to the media. As usual, we were on hand to cover the event, and to provide our weekly practice photo slideshow.

In this edition, we focused on players we’re kind of sure you’d like to see. They feature star QB Trace McSorley, backup QB Tommy Stevens, freshman WRs Jahan Dotson and Justin Shorter, rookie RB Ricky Slade, true frosh LB Micah Parsons, and many more of your favorite Nittany Lions. It was windy and temperatures were in the low 40s for the practice, but the Nittany Lions still did all of their work outside. With daylight-saving time now over, the parts of the session we saw were held under the lights.

The most serious Penn State fans will want to stick around for our VIP notes from the practice.

James Franklin‘s 21st-ranked Nittany Lions are preparing to face unranked Wisconsin at Beaver Stadium Saturday (noon, ABC). Penn State enters the game at 6-3 overall and 3-3 in the Big Ten, while the Badgers are 6-3 and 4-2. Stay tuned to Lions 247 With Fight On State for complete coverage before, during and after the game.
