Add another accolade to Saquon Barkley’s dominant rookie season in New York.
It was announced on Tuesday night the former Nittany Lion was one of three players selected to represent the New York Giants in this season’s Pro Bowl.

Barkley has had a prolific start to his career in the Big Apple, as his 1,153 rushing yards and 1,809 scrimmage yards are both good for third-best in the league. He becomes the first Giants tailback to be selected to the Pro Bowl since Tiki Barber made an appearance in 2006, and is the first Giants rookie running back to be selected in more than 50 years.
With the Giants eliminated from playoff contention, Barkley, barring injury, will represent the NFC in Orlando on Jan. 27. A few days after that, he’s likely to be named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.
