With the early signing period only days away, Penn State football added another to its 2019 incoming class as defensive end Adisa Isaac verbally committed Monday morning.
Isaac is the No. 4 rated weakside defensive in the 247 Network’s composite rankings. The 6-foot-5, 220 pound prospect held a host of offers but his final decision came down to Miami and Penn State as well as Michigan and Texas A&M late in the process.
The Brooklyn, NY native is rated the 79th best player in his class and the best defensive end in New York. He joins Hakeem Beamon as the only other defensive end commit in Penn State’s class as it stands today
Penn State’s 2019 haul is currently rated the 12th best in the nation per the 247 Network and third best in the Big Ten behind Ohio State and Michigan. The Nittany Lions have 17 commits and could add more before the week is up. The early signing period begins on Wednesday morning.
The class is headlined so far by inside linebacker and five-star prospect Brandon Smith out of Mineral, VA.
